Uniplast / Acrylic Resin Bond
Polymer modified cementitious plaster and parging mixture
Coverage

1 bag Uniplast Med, 5 litres Durex® Acrylic Resin Bond 4.6m2 @ 3.2mm (50  ft2 )@ 1/8”

Description

Uniplast, a cementitious based plaster is mixed with Acrylic Resin Bond liquid polymer additive to form an effective concrete plaster and repair mortar, as well as a base coat for Durex® Non-Insulated family of wall systems. Being a cementitious plaster combined with an acrylic admixture it provides excellent adhesion to cementitious and masonry substrates, has very good workability with outstanding durability. Uniplast is available in fine, medium and coarse grades for added application versatility.

Advantages
  • Superior bonding to concrete and masonry
  • Excellent workability; longer open time of mixes.
  • Simplified job site mixing as no water or other additives required.
  • Consistent job site quality control.
  •  Low moisture absorption rate of the mixes.
  • Higher compressive and flexural strength of the cementitious mixtures.
  • Reduced shrinkage and cracking of the mixes.
  • Excellent freeze-thaw stability
Uses

Uniplast / Acrylic Resin Bond is to be used as a cementitious plaster base coat for all Durex® Non-Insulated Wall Systems and as an effective parging and plaster mortar for new construction and restoration applications.
