Description

Dur-A-Patch EP is a 100% solids, two-component, aggregates-filled epoxy mortar. It is a NON-SAG gel (thixotropic paste) with excellent adhesion, high strength, with excellent physical properties and easy to use as a versatile general-purpose adhesive mortar. Dur A Patch EP is a stiff but easily workable compound that can be applied by trowel, spatula or knife. It cures to give high mechanical properties typical of epoxy compounds. It is resistant to oils, greases, petroleum, salts, many acids and alkalis and most commonly met corrosive media. It does not shrink on curing. Its impact resistance and mechanical strength is greater than that of concrete.

Advantages
  • Easy to apply
  • Shrink free
  • Chemical resistant
  • High Early strength
  • High tensile and flexural strength
  • Insensitive to moisture during application, cure or whilst in service
  • Excellent adhesion to most building materials even when damp
  • High abrasion resistance
  • Approved for use in contact with potable water High early strength
  • High tensile and flexural strength Supplied in factory proportioned units Easily applied
Uses

Dur-A-Patch EP is an ideal epoxy bedding and repair mortar for a variety of concrete applications. It may be used for repairing surface defects or honeycombing concrete in horizontal, vertical or overhead situations. Dur-A-Patch EP can also be used as a general-purpose adhesive mortar. Dur-A-Patch EP is also used for repairing surface defects or honeycombing concrete in horizontal, vertical or overhead situations, fixing slip bricks to concrete, securing bolts into walls, dowel bars anchoring, as a gap-filling adhesive, bedding tiles, filling bolt pockets, repairing concrete posts in-situ, bedding bridge beams or steel bridge bearing and fixing of surface ports for crack injection.
