Description

Green Guard is a single component, liquid applied, water-based copolymer rubber water resistive (WRB) air/vapour barrier membrane. Trowel or spray applied, it cures to form a tough, seamless, elastomeric membrane, which is resistant to air leakage and vapour diffusion. In its liquid state, Green Guard is light green in colour and cures to a translucent forest green colour.

Advantages
  • Highly flexible, bridges cracks  which may form in the substrate
  • Liquid characteristics  assures a monolithic, seamless membrane
  • Water-resistive (WRB) air/vapour barrier membrane
  • Remains firmly bonded to the substrate even when applied over damp surfaces
  • Water-based technology allows for simple and safe application and easy clean up
Uses

Green Guard acts as a water resistive (WRB) air/vapour barrier within the building envelope. It may be applied to most common surfaces such as concrete, brick, concrete block, glass-mat coated gypsum, cement board, plywood and Oriented Strand Board (OSB) and integrated into various Durex EIFS Systems for both new construction and restoration work.
